I wanted to post a special thanks to the photographers that have helped us craft our brand over the past year!
Dan Kearley, my brother-in-law, of Emotional Response Photography in Vancouver: Dan has done three shoots for us so far. It’s not easy shooting multiple kids outdoors in unpredictable weather but Dan has an amazing ability to let the kids roam and play while still capturing everything we could ask for and more. The kids always leave a photo shoot with Dan saying how much fun they had. Kids being comfortable, wild, and free, is exactly what we strive for with our brand and we couldn't be happier with Dan's incredible photos. Check out more of his work: http://emotionalresponse.ca
Dan works full time in the music industry and does professional photography and records music in his home in Vancouver in his "spare time". His artistic talents are limitless. He is also a husband and father to, soon to be, two little Wild Ones. So excited for my future niece (or nephew)! Here are some of our favourites from Dan:
Recently, a local photographer, Lindsay Campbell, agreed to work with us for product photos for our website and social media. She crammed us into her busy schedule, being a mom and part-time registered nurse, and got us incredibly artistic shots in record time. She spent hours ensuring every detail was perfect and we are so excited to continue to work with her and see what other magic she can come up with! She's also one of the nicest people you could ever hope to meet and the enthusiastic mama of a handsome little guy we just LOVE to dress! Here are some of our favourites from Lindsay:
Another local team, Ruth Mills and Julie Wakita, also did an incredible shoot with us. Ruth is the owner of the BEAUTIFUL Minette Bay Lodge here in Kitimat and, not only shot some gorgeous photos for us but, allowed us to use her stunning property and lovely horses for our shoot. Her kindness and generosity will make you want to be a better person. She's the accomplished mother of five talented, lovely women, a busy hostess, a loving grandmother, a phenomenal cook, and an adventurous and talented photographer.
Her partner in crime, Julie Wakita, is a busy mother of two beautiful babies. Her son is one of the handsome Wild Ones in this shoot. Julie has the patience of a saint and is also chalk-full of genuine kindness and generosity. She's the kind of person that will always be there for anyone that needs her. Her laugh and smile can light up the darkest room. Here are some of our favorites from the lovely Ruth and Julie:
